ZIRAUN

The band Ziraun is a project created in 2022 in Gernika-Lumo (Bizkaia) with the main idea of creating a different, fresh and powerful music. Since then we have been creating songs in basque language combining heavy rock and dark melodies with a powerful female and melodic voice.

Since our beginnings we have been looking for our small place in the music scene of Euskal Herria. In order to do so, we have been creating, recording and promoting our music (in press interviews, radio, television) and performing concerts, sharing the stage with well-known bands such as Sua, Janus Lester, Zetak or Su Ta Gar, among others.

Regarding the music we have published in this time period, on 11 January 2023 we released our first song, ‘Bizitza Baten Zirriborroa’. On the 3rd of December of the same year we released our first album, ‘Argitik’, which we had the honour of presenting at the Durangoko Azoka. This album contains 6 songs in which we have had collaborations with bands such as Liher or Moonshine Wagon.

After presenting our last concert tour, nowadays Ziraun is in a change phase. Some members have left the project and others have joined. With these new talents we are creating new music and with great enthusiasm we are working on an album that will be released in 2025 and then we will also take it to the stage.
