Lorelei Green was born in 2013 by the singer and songwriter Leire Aparicio.
After more than 100 concerts touring the Iberian Peninsula in all kinds of venues, theatres, bars and spaces, her carefuly written lyrics and sound with folk roots are evolving along with the double bass and percussion.
After giving a powerful twist to their style, the now Bizkaian band Lorelei Green has just released LAVA, a work made up of a total of 9 songs recorded and produced by the British James Morgan. Together they make up a journey in very different scenarios but with a clear backbone: the sound of a double bass that sometimes plays with distortion, an electric guitar, drums, beautiful lyrics in Spanish, and an unmistakable voice.
Especially in Bilbao, Lorelei Green has played at venues such as the Palacio Euskalduna, the Cotton Club, the BBK, Azkena, Bilborock and the Kafe Antzoki and shared the stage with artists such as Andrés Suárez at the Santana 27, Mäbu at the Teatro Campos Elíseos, or Travis Birds, in collaboration with Más Músicas.
